2. Product
MidCaelum is a macOS application for symbolic analysis of astrological charts. It provides calculation, display, and interpretation tools.
It is not a predictive service.
3. License
The software is sold as a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license.
The purchase is a one-time payment (no subscription).
4. Trial / unregistered use
The software is complete and can be tested free of charge before purchase. In its unregistered version, its use is limited to charts for the year 2000, allowing users to explore its features before full unlocking.
5. Pricing and payment
Prices are indicated inclusive of all taxes (TTC).
Payment is processed securely online via a payment provider. The management of VAT and taxes is handled by this provider.
A license key is provided after payment confirmation.
6. Delivery
The software is provided as a digital download. No physical product is shipped.
7. Right of withdrawal and refunds
In accordance with European law, a 14-day right of withdrawal may apply. However, the purchase of MidCaelum corresponds to the immediate supply of a digital license enabling the unlocking of the software. By completing the purchase, the user expressly requests this immediate supply and acknowledges that they waive their right of withdrawal once the license has been delivered.
The software is available before purchase in a limited free version allowing users to explore its features. Consequently, refund requests are not accepted. However, in the event of a proven technical defect preventing normal use on a compatible system, an appropriate solution will be proposed, which may include a refund.
8. Liability
MidCaelum provides symbolic analysis. It is not a decision-making or predictive tool.
The user is solely responsible for how they use the software and for their interpretation of the information provided. The publisher shall not be held liable for any consequences resulting from such use, regardless of their nature.
9. Personal data
The software operates primarily locally. No account is required.
The user’s email address is collected during purchase and used for license generation, delivery by email, and activation within the MidCaelum application, where it is associated with the license key (without being embedded in it) and displayed in the license section. Activation requires entering both the license key and the email address used at purchase; using a different email address will not unlock the software. It may also be used for support purposes.
